Hi, I'm Randeep Singh.
With over 15 years of experience at the forefront of science education, I've dedicated my career to mastering the art of teaching.
My journey progressed quickly — within two years of entering the profession, I was appointed Lead Practitioner, a role centred on excellence in the classroom and coaching other educators. I haven't just taught the curriculum; I've helped develop it, so complex scientific concepts stay accessible, engaging, and structured for maximum retention.
Managing classes of 30+ meant it was genuinely difficult to give every student the attention they needed. I moved into private tuition to reclaim that — stepping away from the traditional classroom to offer what schools simply can't: uninterrupted, high-level science instruction.
Six foundations of the programme.
Every group is run on the same set of principles — not a webinar, a properly resourced classroom of eight.
Qualified UK science teacher
Backed by elite academic credentials including a Master of Education (MEd) and a PGCE, delivering research-driven lessons that work.
15+ years expert experience
Over a decade and a half of classroom teaching and Senior Leadership / Lead Practitioner experience inside the UK school system.
Maximum 8 students
Strictly limited small-group intakes, so your child is always seen, heard, and supported — never lost in the back row.
Tailored to your exam board
Lessons are closely matched to specific curriculum criteria, so effort is hyper-focused on what actually drops marks.
Elite exam strategy
Direct instruction on dissecting complex word choices, command prompts, and building answers that satisfy UK mark schemes.
Proven student success
A track record of high performance spanning all major UK frameworks: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and International iGCSE.
What to expect from every lesson.
Joining SinghScience means stepping away from passive, overcrowded webinars and into a rigorous, high-performance environment built on cognitive science — engineering understanding, retention, and application through proven instructional models.
Science-based instruction
Lessons are structured around cognitive load theory and educational research, making complex concepts highly digestible and memorable.
Regular assessments
Structured milestone check-ins, targeted topic quizzes, and authentic exam-style questions track precise grade progression.
Consistent feedback & end-of-block updates
Students get live guidance to fix mistakes on the spot. Parents receive a formal progress update at the end of each six-week block.
Retrieval homework, exam questions & notes
Tasks are calibrated to prompt active recall, so crucial facts migrate into long-term memory well before exams. Students also get exam questions regularly and a set of key notes from each lesson to keep and revise from.
Real grade improvements.
Before-and-after results from students who have completed a SinghScience block.
"Having a constant stream of different cover teachers meant we were always restarting topics. Having Randeep's consistent, expert instruction every week finally gave me a stable foundation."
"Protein synthesis felt impossible to memorise with all the tRNA and triplet code terminology. The masterclass broke transcription down step-by-step, and I actually enjoyed learning it."
"The weekly retrieval practice homework was a game-changer. It forced me to actively recall tricky physics equations and forces units months later, so nothing was forgotten by mock season."
"Our child joined in Year 10 aiming for a safe pass. The small group meant direct personal attention every week, and the exam technique pushed them well past their target."
Choose your pathway.
Two ways to join, depending on how much support your child needs between now and results day. Places are booked in six-week blocks, one hour a week — this keeps groups stable and lets us track progress properly across a full topic cycle.

This term's class timetable.
All times are UK time, and every class runs live on Google Meet. Topics move on each week, so the "now covering" line shows where each group currently is.
Groups are capped at eight, so not every class will have space at any given time. Get in touch and I'll tell you exactly what's open.
Safeguarding, recordings and cancellations.
The parts that matter but rarely get spelled out. If anything here raises a question, please ask me before you book.
A qualified, checked teacher
I hold Qualified Teacher Status and an enhanced DBS check, and I have worked in UK schools for over fifteen years. I am happy to share my DBS certificate with any parent who asks — just say the word.
How lessons are run
All teaching happens in a scheduled Google Meet with the whole group present. I do not teach students one-to-one behind closed doors, and I do not contact students privately — anything concerning a student comes through you, the parent.
What the recordings contain
Recordings capture my teaching, the shared screen, and spoken contributions from the group. Students are never required to have their camera on, so a child can take part fully without appearing on the recording at all.
How recordings are stored
Recordings are shared only with the families in that group, via a private link, and are deleted at the end of each six-week block. They are never posted publicly or used in advertising. If you would rather your child's contributions were not recorded, tell me and I will accommodate it.
Cancellations — 48 hours' notice
If your child cannot make a session, please let me know at least 48 hours beforehand and I will do what I can to move them or make the time up. Inside 48 hours the slot cannot be reallocated.
This matters more than it might sound. Groups are capped at eight and places are genuinely limited, so every seat held by a student who repeatedly does not attend is a seat another child could not be offered. The notice period is what keeps groups full, small, and fair to the families in them.

Frequently asked questions.
The things parents most often want to know before their child joins a group.
Will my child be at a disadvantage in a group compared to one-to-one?
It is the question I am asked most, and in practice almost every student I have taught has come to prefer the group. They gain a great deal from hearing how others think through a problem, and a question from the student next to them very often clears up the exact thing they were stuck on themselves. Over six weeks the group becomes a small community where they learn from one another, not just from me.
How many students are in a group?
Eight, and that is a hard ceiling rather than a target. It is small enough that I can hear from every student in every lesson and spot who is struggling before it shows up in a test.
Which subjects and exam boards do you cover?
Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE, across AQA, Edexcel, OCR, iGCSE and Cambridge. Groups are set by exam board, so your child is only ever taught the specification they will actually sit.
Where do the lessons take place?
Live on Google Meet. Your child needs a device with a working microphone and a quiet place to sit — no special software to install.
What if my child misses a lesson?
Every session is recorded and sent out afterwards, on both pathways, so a missed week never means a missed topic.
Is the free Exam Focus class really included?
Yes. Any student in a Science Mastery group can attend one Exam Focus session a week at no extra charge — so a single Mastery place is two hours of teaching a week for £40. Two Mastery classes a week comes to £60 rather than £80, and the free Exam Focus session still stands on top of that.
How does payment work?
In six-week blocks, one hour a week — £240 for Science Mastery, £120 for Exam Focus. Payment is taken through a secure link on my website, handled by TutorCruncher, so nothing goes through informal transfers. Booking a block at a time keeps the group stable, which matters when eight students are learning together.
What happens when the six weeks are up?
Most students carry straight on into the next block, and their place in the group is held for them while they decide. Classes run right through the academic year to late June, so a student who joins in September can stay with the same group and the same teacher all the way to their exams.
What materials does my child get?
Exam questions are set regularly so your child is practising on the real thing rather than generic worksheets, and each lesson comes with a set of key notes covering the points that matter most from that topic. Everything is theirs to keep and revise from later.
Do I have to pay anything up front?
No. The consultation, the assessment and the first trial lesson are all free. You only pay once you have seen a real lesson and decided it is right for your child.
How much homework is set?
On Science Mastery, a short retrieval task each week. It is deliberately built around recalling older material rather than repeating the current topic, because that is what moves knowledge into long-term memory.
How will I know if my child is progressing?
Through regular topic quizzes and exam-style questions during lessons, plus a formal one-to-one parent update at the end of every six-week block on the Science Mastery pathway.
Which pathway should we choose?
Science Mastery if your child needs the subject rebuilt properly from the ground up. Exam Focus if the understanding is broadly there and the marks are being lost on technique. We will settle this together at the consultation.
